Homemade Ice Tea Recipe

1. Step

Pour one liter of boiling water over approx. 8 tablespoons of loose tea. For the tea, you can use rooibos, herbal or fruit tea, which steep for about 8 minutes. If you need a caffeine kick, you can use black or green tea and let it steep for about 5 minutes. Green tea should be infused with water at a maximum of 60 degrees. If you don’t have loose tea, you can use four to six biodegradable tea bags as a substitute.

The Lillet Blanc, a French wine aperitif, is a fruity, refreshing classic. And cucumbers in a jar are not only available from Grandma, but also in our summer drink. Thanks to cucumbers’ ability to store cold, they are a particularly popular addition to cocktails.

Shopping List:
• 5 cl Lillet Blanc
• 10 cl tonic water
• Ice cubes
• 1 slice of cucumber
• 2 stalks of mint
• 1 strawberry, halved

That's how it's done:

Fill half of a large wine glass with ice cubes and add the cucumber slice, mint and the halved strawberry. Top up with 5 cl Lillet Blanc and 10 cl tonic water. Finished!
